Under Development

Silvis devotees may note and question recent silence, but in fact, many new albums from new artists are under development.

Asenath Anyox - work continues on what will be 7 albums, with only vocals remaining to track.  Gothic, grunged-out, uptempo shoegaze, like a darkened "Isn't Anything" -era MBV, delivered through cranked Marshalls and piles of boutique fuzz.

Mulozhi - Trap Black Metal (yes, you read correctly) album "The Power Broker, Vol. 1" approaching completion.  Mulozhi is a new Silvis artist, and the innovation of The Power Broker cannot be understated.

The Le Fanus - this seems as though it will be either 2-3 albums, or 1 large double-album.  Synth and 12-string 4AD-type jangle gothgaze in the classic tradition.

Bartram Haugh - Think Ionia-era Lycia goth.  Be excited for this.

Approximately 11 (perhaps 12?) albums of material under development.

Fassionola Fanihi Rolls Out Another LP - Tourist Trapping

Fassionola Fanihi's 3rd LP, "Tourist Trapping," is now available on Bandcamp for free.

"Tourist Trapping," Fassionola Fanihi's 3rd full length album, pours skull-sized/shaped tiki mugs full of tropical acid house courtesy of a barrage of vintage drum machines and sun-bleached 303. Great soundtrack for overcoming COVID-19, trading dried seahorses, or driving a few circles around a Micronesian island while tailed by kava-drinking spies.

Fassionola Fanihi's "Citric Acid" Available Now

Fassionola Fanihi's 2nd LP, "Citric Acid," is out now on Bandcamp.  "Gothic tiki" acid / tropical house, featuring pure 303 shredding over a collection of vintage drum machines, with imposing nostalgic qualities. "Citric Acid" presents a tropical, bat-infested world of hard-hitting gothic acid house for your 3am tiki bar rendez-vous with destiny.

This is our 50th release (although technically, number 51 in our queue); a major milestone.  Expect a new compilation, "L" (Roman numeral for 50) to be released in the coming weeks.

Due to current COVID-19-related circumstances, rather than slyly "pacing" new releases, Silvis Records is making everything available as soon as it is able to, for immediate access and enjoyment.

Fassionola Fanihi's "Micronesian Vampire" - Tiki-Goth Bangers

Fassionola Fanihi is a "tiki-goth" acid house project of dense philosophical implications, consisting of histrionic 303 bass synth shredding over a dizzying collection of vintage drum machines.  And, it's one of the "new wave" of Silvis Record artists we are extremely excited about.

"Micronesian Vampire" rips up expectations with four high-energy, nostalgic dancefloor-shakers pointing towards various points in the past and future alike.  Pick it up for free and cure the malaise of your rites of pandemic spring.

Fassionola Fanihi LP "Valentino Hotel" - Out Now!

Silvis Records has officially released "Valentino Hotel," the debut LP by new artist Fassionola Fanihi.  Futuristic "tiki goth" acid house mixology crafted using straight-up vintage synth, and a barrage of vintage drum machines, filtered through a lens of Micronesian/Alaskan isolation.  The unique combination of elements is straight-up Silvis Records.  We are incredibly proud of this one, and find it pretty difficult to articulate with words how awesome we think it is!

This is definitely the type of music the world needs more of right now, and Silvis Records is psyched to make it happen!  We also strongly encourage you to investigate the origins of the name.
